Senior Accountant
Responsibilities

Senior experience in building schedules, processes and reconciliations

Maintain general ledgers for various partnerships
-
Oversees the day-to-day accounting activities for multiple projects
-
Improve accounts payable work flow effectiveness
-
Apply analytical skills and professional judgment while analyzing and reviewing complex transactions
-
Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications; including review procedures over journal entries prepared by team members
-
Respond to financial inquiries of operational management providing requested information for management of multiple organizations
-
Ensure books and records are kept in accordance with required accounting standards
Relevant Skills

-
5+ years’ experience in accounting
-
Bachelors in accounting or related field
-
Master’s degree a plus
-
CPA license strongly preferred
-
Strong proficiency in bookkeeping software
-
Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
